Default waiting for my Shredder. what size motor can i put inside this bad boy?

Hi, hows everyone doing today? i'd like to start off with an introduction. I am currently in the united states navy!oooyah! ive ben in the hobby for 16 years now! ive flown Rc planes, helicopters, gliders, on road RC offroad RC, an just purchsed my first 1/5 scale off road Short course truck. the Shredder to be exact. Does anyone know anythign about whats under the hod of this bad boy? Iwont get mines in teh mail for atleast another week an im growing anxious here!ive been also looking at upgrading the motor whats the best ESC /brushless motor set up for a truck like this?ive been looking at teh mambas an they seem mostly for 1/10 touring cars?can anyone point me in the rite directiong. much apreciated.

Mamba Monster would be the best ESC/Motor upgrade. If you run the monster with two 11.1 4000+ lipos it'll hit it's potential 5 horse power. Best ESC/Motor on the market for large 1/8th and up scales.

icood giv u my suggestion on how 2 hit light speed, but not havn seen da chassis motor layout, i cant commant on wethr or not my particular motor will fit

i jus dropd dis magic motor in my aftrshok 8e, usin da stock esc & gearing. i alredy no its fastr & strongr den stok motor. & runs way cooler. but till i get sum rok solid evidense of performanse, i dont want 2 give any advise dat isnt approvd by me. dis satrday is rcx, & shall prove 2 b a bulk of my testin.

but i dont think a mamba monster wood b a good choise. ill c how my testin goes

wit bettr batts, i radar'd it @ 48mph. stock gearing.

& @ 48mph on pavement, it was hard 2 evn drive in a strate line. its guna b inpossible now.....
