RE: brand new truck
day 2 went pretty well..
only one issue,i realized fuel coming from the glow plug hole while the car was running.
any idea what would cause that?

Did you put the washer on the plug before you put it in or did you make sure the plug was tight?

The only thing on the glow plug is a washer that seals it... its possible the washer is not good..... dont put any thread compound or sealer there, it will make problems.

i usually use the dremel, just make a slot in the screw head and use a regular screwdriver to take it out. One of the only uses i ever really found for a dremel besides body trimming and smoothing out.

i use my my drill and drill the head of the screw till the head is gone. then you pull the motor off and use a pair of pliers to turn the shaft of the screw till it comes out.

not really unless your brake is dragging and its glazing the pad.

yes, much better, i still have a small stash of old style metal disc/fiber pad setups. The composite can round out sometimes where it meets the drive cup or they can actually melt, i have had the composite/plastic brake discs actually melt to the metal shoes on a few of my rc's, my hpi rs4 3 would always lockup on the track until i upgraded the disc.

probably the steering servo is not good, just swap the 2 plugs for the servos on the receiver, the throttle will control the steering and the steering will control the throttle, if it still does the same thing then the servo is no good. before you go thru this, take the servo horn off the servo and see if it moves without the linkage hooked up to it.
