Default caldera 10e

i am wanting to get new rcs and i am wondering if i could buyt he caldera 10e or any caldera series rc and put a vxl system in it

You could do as the Caldera 10 takes the 540 size motors. It would be cheaper to just buy the RTR Caldera and leave the Redcat Brushless setup in it.

yeh, you can run a vxl system in a caldera 10e.

i would stick with nimh or 2s lipo packs. 3s lipo tends to be a bit much for the caldera. as with any model, more speed equals more repairs!

if you want to do the swap in order ot have waterproof system, thats decent.

if you want to do the swap in order to have more power, then its not really worth it.

the stock system provides plenty of power, and a vxl system wont provide any massive increase in power.
