Lightning epx pro on 3s lipo
One of my local shops became a Redcat dealer so I can now have a nice cheap car and have parts available. I want to know if the Lightning EPX pro can take a 3s lipo and does it has a voltage cutoff for lipos?

The pro does have a cuttoff and It will handle a 3s Ive been running mine for over a month on a 3s without any issues. Also look into the esc specs I am not sure where redcat sets them off hand but the punch on these is usually down from the factory turn it up and you will be impressed!!!

Resurrecting this old thread 😝 i have the lightning epx pro, run 100c 3s lipo for days now and not had a hitch, keep an eye on your motor temps though usually, i get about 5, 1/4 mi speed runs before i cant cant touch the s.o.b.
