good cheap lipo charger/balancer????
Just wondering if anyone can lead me in the right direction to purchase a decent and low cost lipo charger/balancer...and also will charge nimh and nicd batteries as well??? thanks

thanks so much....i am new to the rc world from a long absence in rc...so trying to get things figured out...i want to stay around 300 and was looking at the epx pro with a lipo and charger or the avalanche xte stock...both around the same price so im not sure what to purchase...any suggestions?

The stock charger on the avalanche will take like 2 or 3 hours PER lipo. So, figure 5-6 hours to charge both packs. And you get about 15 minutes of runtime per charge.
So, if you get a avalanche or 8e, you will still want a better charger.

I am using the Turnigy Accucel-6 and the Accucel-8 , both are fairly cheap. You can purchase them from Hobby King, also run the Turnigy Nano-Tech batteries and have had really good luck with the Lipos. Both chargers require a ac/RC adapter. I converted a old power supply from a computer to one and run chargers on it. Works great with no issues!
