SUMO 2.4 receiver doesn't always startup
I have a couple week old Sumo. Most of the time when I turn the truck on and then the xmitter, the truck won't do anything; the blue receiver light will be on, but will not blink on startup like it does when things work right. Any ideas why the truck blue light only blinks sometimes and that is only when it all works? The rest of the time the light just turns on and nothing works. I've even tried doing a binding start every time to get around it; in those cases the xmitter thinks it bound but the receiver didn't blink on startup and so nothing works. I hate to think this is defective because it does work just fine some % of the time.
Thanks!
Thanks!

1st thing, always turn on the radio first. never turn on the truck before the radio.
Try doing that several times, if it works each time then the problem was turning on the truck before the radio.
If it still glitches then it could be a defective reciever. Dont forget to check both the "AA" in the radio as well as the power of the batteries on the sumo. Low batteries can cause radio glitch issues.
Try those things out and let us know how it goes.

Well I sure feel like the dunce. That does work better. Not perfect, it still seems to glitch as you say, but definetely far more consistent.
Really I have no idea where I got it in my head the sumo should be done receiver first.. I don't turn on any other RCs that way.
Thanks for the clue.
