Default Setting end points on tornado epx pro?

Ok I recently replaced the steering servo in my tornado epx pro after the stock one broke, but now it won't turn very far in either direction. I can't really think of a reason for this unless the end points for the servo need to be adjusted? Can you even do that with this car? Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Default RE: Setting end points on tornado epx pro?

it could be the steering duel rate adjustment on your radio.
its the nob on the right hand side. Make sure its turned all the way up. If its turned down, you will have limited steering.

also, when you put the servo on did you power up the car and center the steering trim (on radio) before you put on the servo horn (linkage)?

Bringing back an old post because what happened to him is happening 2 me but it has nothing to do with end points, steering trim or servo's. Can't figure out why I can only turn the car just the tiniest amount. Help please

Did you try the dual rate knob? It should be set to 6. There is no end point adjustment on a Tornado controller.

This is not a tornado, it's a backdraft 3.5. I put a tactic 2.4 transmitter/reciever in it. I have a steering trim and steering rate knob, also a throttle trim.

I'm thinking it has something 2 do w/ the servo saver. Mayb the bolt that screws into the top of one of the posts on the saver? I'm messing around w/ it right now but nothing has seemed to work yet

I did loosen them already, but it was that nut on top of the left post of the servo saver. I had 2 tighten it. I basically rebuilt the car due 2 the chasis was bent. I had purchased the upgraded servo saver a while back and decided 2 put it on. Anyway prob solved, we got steering!
