i have an air leak in my sh 18 at the pinch screw. how can i fix it or should i purchas a new motor? thanks

its the screw that hold the engine together in the middle

Are you reffering to the nut/bolt that holds the carb down? It should have a little rubber O-ring sandwiched between,you can try loosening it,push down on the carb and tighen back up. I had to do this plus some rtv on my sh .18 (for some reason I wound up with a Caldera with the sh .18 that was riddled with leaks). Hope this helps...

yep that it... it leaks at that back part of the bolt not at the carb.... should i do the entire motor or just what leaks? thanks

Throw some gasket maker on it before getting a new engine.
