How to increase more speed in my caldera 10e?
The top speed of my caldera 10e can only go 48 mph. I've try different pinion gears with stock spur but still top out the same. I have the tacon 3650 4000k. Will a 1/8 motor make it faster or will I need a 1/10 motor with a higher kv motor? Just looking to get more speed. I'm using 3s

Go for a 4 pole. Here is a very reasonable one.

This will allow you to put a larger pinion and go faster.
You could go another step up and go for a 2650kv 1/8th motor but you'll need a big pinion to get it up to speed.

The Caldera is limited in the size of pinion you can use: I'd say go up in KV instead: though you're already running on 3s and the Caldera isn't really designed for land speed records . Once you get up around 5000kv it's harder to find a motor that says it will take 3s that's not too expensive, maybe this?

I was looking at these two tacon motor:
Tacon 3650 6t 5900k or 3674 6t 2800k
How much different can I gear these two motor if I plan to use one of them. How much bigger of a pinion to the stock 51spur to get a higher speed? Since there's no smaller spur I can use. Unless there is one??
