this is the kit I am looking at
1 EZRUN-60A-SL1.1 Output: Continuous 60A, burst 380A.
1.2 Input: 4-9 cells NiMH/NiCd or 2-3S LiPo.
1.3 BEC: 6V/1.5A (Linear mode built-in BEC).
1.4 Resistance: 0.0007 Ohm.
1.5 Motor Supported: Sensorless Brushless Motor.
1.6 Suitable Motor: * Note #1

That would be a good combo, you could run 3s if you wanted. The 35a would be good with nihm, and ok with 2s lipo. The 60a would be the better, if you run nihm, or 2s lipo, pretty much no worries about ever burning up. It would be pretty bullet proof. Your stock gearing should be fine. Just use the program card, and turn the punch control up. With no slipper clutch, it will help to prevent spur gear damage. If you are running lipo, make sure to set to the correct number of cells, and low voltage protection. You should have a blast with it, with the brushless system. You might want to buy a few spur gears, My son used to shred them on a regular basis. He is 12 now, and not so bad. He has learned some throttle control.
