Unhappy Blackout XTE Constant Beep??

Hey everyone,

I bought a Blackout XTE online, and I just received it and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Everything works good, handles good, drives good, all that fun stuff, but it has a constant beep.

Honestly, this is my first RC car in probably 10-20 years, and I attempted to find troubleshooting beep codes via the manual here Click image for larger version

Am I missing something stupid here?

Well after sleeping, i wake up and now she won't do anything. I tried a paperclip method on the unit for exchange of the pair cable, however this is the results. I went ahead and bought a new pair cable, just for ease, since the seller somehow forgot to include this

I apologize for the noobish stuff here, if you can provide a technical diagnostic guide, i can work with that pretty well, but the general user manual doesn't provide this info.

Red cat support told me it was perfectly normal to be beeping or.holding the beep on throttle decel. It did hit the reset button and the beep comes on braking Decel now. Who knows I'm just gonna drive it I'll get back on here if it breaks

Well apparently the beep I was talking about, was the engine saying "IM GONNA DIEEEE!"

Spoke with tech support, we ruled problem down to the engine. Support is very helpful (and AMERICAN - thank god), in the warranty process now.

Just thought I would update everyone.

Stock out of the box brushed Blackout XTE, with included battery. Seems to operate fine, but while moving forward , braking, or reverse, there is a constant beep from the ESC. Silent when stopped/neutral. Just unboxed last night and didnt have time to really dig into it. Normal??
