RE: OFFICIAL Redcat Racing TRUCK thread
Cool....all is right with the world again...
Please don't be too hard on Jcam though..he was just trying to be a stand up guy when he saw someone being unfairly chastised and insulted for simply trying to give a different and positive outlook when it comes to Redcats growing pains...it really wasn't necessary but he did what he felt was right...
rczeros posts were deleted because he was reported for spamming and it was left for the powers who be to make that determination...obviously they thought so too..
I'm glad to see everyone has chilled out...and I agree...lets get back to having FUN as thats all I have ever been after in the first place.

I would like to know if anyone has put a .21 in a 1/10 buggy. I've been told it may be too much power....I acn't really comprehend that phrase

you can put almost any engine in any machine as long as it has the right size driveshaft and mounting positions. You can like i've done in the past cut off some of the driveshaft lenth right off the motor and make up a mount to fix your engine to the tranny.. It all can be done.

All i know it's supposed to be in the mid 60's over the weekend. I already told my men and my customers we wont be working over the weekend. My son and i are going to floyd bennett field (local rc paradise) to race some cars, run the trucks and maybe fly the plane or helicopter. Cant wait till tomorrow's over.

My shop is in kind of a mini industrial park and the guy across from me who shares the drive and parking with me seems to be interested in a buggy like mine so of course I pumped him up about the huge field he owns behind his shop...I was coming up with all sorts of ideas for a track or 2 (one flat oval and one moto-cross type) back there then he started chiming in about where we could put them...etc...so heres to hoping I sell him on a buggy![sm=thumbup.gif]

RE: OFFICIAL Redcat Racing TRUCK thread
Hey guys, shortly before Christmas I purchased my Volcano STX as many of you already know, after much thought I've decided to sell my truck. It has only ran through 7-8 tanks of gas, and comes with a starter pack, approximately $70 worth of spare parts (if interested I can list all of the parts). I am selling it for $250.00, worth well over that. PM me if interested.

RE: OFFICIAL Redcat Racing TRUCK thread
and anyways who wants to spend 40 bucks on a arms and then have a chance to break or even worse having aluminum parts for your upgrade can even make you spend more just to try to fix your truck all these hop ups aren't so great becauce if the plastic breaks it;s just plastic not aluminum which if you break those your gonna have worse problems trying tofigure out what you bent or threw out of wack

RE: OFFICIAL Redcat Racing TRUCK thread
you are right about traxxas part's being easier to get in a hobby store, they seem to be cheaper for parts too, the new pricing at redcat seems to be pretty competative now. Just need to be able to wait a week for parts or maybe order extra's so you have them. You have the truck already so why get rid of it, plus you take the biggest loss in $ now too.
