length yeah keep around that, and width is usually pretty standard on most 1/10th trucks etc.

lol i'm glad too!!!!

well took my truck out today and had some fun with it... nothing crazy really just some testing. i took it to a baseball field by my house and ran it in the infield(sand/gravel). ran very well with no problems. i rolled it about 6 times when i was taking tight turns and flipped it hard twice. amazingly nothing broke.... no cracks on the body no nothing. i was worried about the part i broke last week(left rear axle holder), but i coated the hubs with epoxy(all 4) and it worked great. i'd recommend doing so before hand to the stock ones so you don't have to keep buying new ones until the aluminum comes out. i was so happy about that today and all in all was a great day, about 53 degrees here. i love my truck lol

I finally broke my pull start spring trying to get this thing to start today. Instead of buying an inferior replacement part from redcat what are my options?

I see that the tigerdrive looks like a popular option but I don't quite understand how it works. Info appreciated.

and here is some pics of my new gasket on exhaust header to motor---MOPAR gear lube rtv (part#82300234 available at any jeep/chrysler/dodge dealership parts department)

If you look close in the last pic you can see my new wheels just waiting on the tires from tower. cdeniro check out this thread

blackdog---if the buggy is laid out like the truck (which I belive it is) check out these pipes and matched headers I have the E1018k which is shown in the pictures above. I would suggest useing rtv sealant as the new exhaust gasket it holds up alot better than the paper gasket that tends to break/wear with the spent oil/fuel--the rtv sealent in my opinon creates a better seal and when it is dry it feels/makes like a rubber gasket that with stands high temp and is extreamly resistant to oil/feul---it is used to seal the diff covers of full size cars and withstands heat up to 625'F, it dries in 1 hour and is fully cured in 24 hours. (part # is in previous posts)

http://rchub.com/Merchant2/merchant....tegory_Code=SB

I hope this helps you out.---Let me know if I can help with anything.

P.S. got to give credit to chubbysdad, he is the one that suggested rtv sealent--not shure if this is the same one he spoke of--but it worked great.---HATS OFF TO YOU CHUBBY!!!

Jcam,I've been eyeballin that exhaust for quite some time now as it looks pretty sweet. Was it a very noticable increase in performance (I would assume so compared to the stocker),what about sound/noise/pitch compared to the stock unit?

Hi All,

Well i managed to run my truck at another location today and to my amazement no radio trouble, so i'm almost convinced it was someone messing with me... I found a real nice gravel patch and all some tough grass and really put the truck through it's paces, it did handle well at first but then things went wrong, the 4 wheel drive became 2 wheel, so i'm guessing something in the back diff has gone, the centre one and the sockets seem to be fine but alas no power to the back, it's actually quite funny how powerless the truck is without the rear wheels pushing! I had a good laugh when the truck was coming back to me and as it got to me the front left wheel fell off!!! the nut had come loose but i also noticed the hub is starting to strip... has anyone has this hub issue? when they start to strip, is there a way to get that stronger?? the ontehr thing i wanted to know and i'll post a pic, is everytime i run my truck now i get massive amounts of oil/ i guess fuel all over the motor and carb... i have checked for leaks and put some silicon on to see if that would help but i don;t see anything helping??? is it possible the residue from the exhaust is blowing back and across onto the carb etc??? the last thing is the fuel pipe, has anyone got a better way to run it? i had made a cover thing but it has come loose and i saw a buggy that had the pipe running straight through but i also noticed there was a proper cover over the main geras in the central diff, is it possible to get ahold of one of these covers? any info would be great,
thanks

cheers

P.S Xeller is that dirty enough for you hahahaha LMAO

Btw, the exhaust deflector normaly is done when i run the truck, normally slightly just above the ground

Go in to "my account" at the top, click forum settings and scroll down till you see something about uploading an avatar. It can only be a certain size so you can use MS paint to scale it down some.

Hey Pierre....spray your motor off real good ( I use CRC lectramotive cleaner).and get it nice and dry then run it for a few minutes and look around the area between the head and the block and see if it's wet...

And yes...it's nice to see some dirt on your machine...but not if it's leaking somewhere!

Hi Scott

Yeah i'll give it a go when i get a chance again, thanks for the info, i hope it's not leaking either The thing is, if it was leaking then it should have very little power and from what it was doing today, that thing has never had so much power, it was going insane, it;s alittle unstable on the turns but aprat from that it was going really well, i just finished taking all the diff arpart - cleaning and then packing them with grease, it was starting to get alittle noisy, i also reran the fuel line but not sure if it'll be better or not, i hope it will be. other then that the new radio should be here next week but i only have a 1 day gap to try it and then i'm off home for holiday for 3 weeks and then i get a chance to run the stampede.

Cheers

Hey Guys

One last thing,
This is to all the design people for the trucks or maybe the dealers can say something..........,
Could it be possible to make a fuel tank that has the pipe leading towards the front of the truck and then we can curl it back to go into the carb... the reason is the way it is designed now is really rubbish, you have to pray and hope that the cable ties hold otherwise your fuel line meets it's death against the central diff, i had this problem when i first got the truck and i agree we can all try make a little fix etc to try save it and pull the pipe tighter so it stays in one place but the simpler theing would be to swop the sid eof the outlet for the feul pipe, i can;t see it having any effect on pressure etc...
Maybe i'm wrong but i dunno,

let me know what you think

Cheers

to help with corner stability tow out front shocks to the maximum setting,I did this and now I can hit full throttle through turns with no problem.

naviuk...it almost looks like your exhaust gasket has blown that is what happened to mine. read the page before or earlyer on this page for the rtv sealent I used for a new gasket. Or it could be the exhaust deflecter blowing it back at the truck instead of away from it.

nitrosteve22...to tell you the truth I don't really remember what the stock pipe sounded like, but I do know the new one help out with power on the mid to top end and has a rowdy exhaust note.
