Well i just went on the redcat website and part # 08047 said "aluminium hub carrier, but it had a picture of aluminium body mounts, is this a typo, or a mess up on the picture? Or are they just totally different pieces?

also, i went to http://www.projdm.com/Replacement-Pa...983_16142.html, from that store in that "everything you need for your vulcano stx including aluminum " thread, and it has the same part number, 08047

I wrote to Redcat to ask if its just a site flaw,Just guessing thats the price for body posts though.... rite picture and the wrong title.
The site is less than a week old so theres bound to be some glitches,we'll help em work em out.[sm=thumbup.gif]

How fast does it measure? Do you think for $30 it's accurate? I used my $100 GPS and clocked my Tornado @ 32 mph before I crashed! Just strap a cheep handheld GPS to your car or truck.

Yeah it may work but I wouldn't buy it just to check my car speed. Maybe I'll buy one as a present for the neighbors kid then try it. LOL.. It just seemed funny that kids can clock a Matchbox car at home. I guess I'm just getting old. Hey try it out and let us know if it works.

Guys I need some help ... one of the gears from my Diffirential gear box is gone!!! you know those gears that come with the car??? it is one of those... well at least SHOULD be. But it WOULD NOT FIT !!! some how I couldn't get it to go deep enough into the "way axe" . After make the wholes a litle deeper it finaly got into the right place !!!

So .. after a long time trying to fix that I tried to put everything back together... and I've noticed that the only metal gear in there is ALMOST ruined !!!! geeeeeee I ordered a whole new gear box... but I want to know if is there a replacment for that ONE metal gear inside the box . Can anyone tell me that ??? to make sure we are talking about the same gear .. it is the ITEM within diffirential gear wheel set # 08013

Now.. about the website... I must be on drugs !! hauhuahaua I just try it again and the good old one was there !! hehehhe
Regards,

Yeah over tightening it will cause a lot of excess friction, thats probably whats going on.
With my gearbox I just get the screws just past finger tight.........then locktite em in place.
(try that when you get the gear replaced)

well, yesterday i was tired of waiting for my rear hub to come, so i krazy glued the old one, i took it out just to tune the engine a bit. and i'm driving back and fourth up and down the street, when my exhaust gets loud, so i check it out and one of the screws for the manifold in place was missing. Luckily, my dad helped my find it at the end of the driveway, so i put it back in (using threadlock, mind you), and i go up and down the lawn, then my krazy glue gives out. So i decided to retire for the day, now i'm sitting here, and i start to clean off all the crap that got stuck to my car when the manifold came off, and the same screw is missing AGAIN! looks like i'll have to get up tomorrow and look for it, cause its too dark now []
so, if i cant find it, could i buy a new one through a redcat dealer, and what would the part number be? Or could i find a similar screw at the hardware store or sumthing?

Hey Buddy !! don't get upset .... it happens ( A LOT WITH ME) hehehehehh I think you can find those screws at a local hardware store. I could find all of them here !!!! an I live in Brazil ... so you should be just fine!!! and at a hardware store you can get stronger ones that wont loose so easily !

Good luck
