sh18 head button
just wanna make sure this is what i need b4 i order it..i was tightening down my glow plug and went too far..i stripped sumthing...i bought a new plug and it didnt tighten either..after removing the cooling head i see where the plug screws into..this is the head button right?

I would check and make sure that none of the alumm that stripped fell down into the piston or the piston housing... as much as it cost to buy the head and gasket.. u can send it back in the replacement program and get another engine..

i would remove the back plate and rinse it off the inside with wd40 or nitro gaz. soak it real good.
Be sure the bearing are all clean and free rolling.
That might sound just too much work (since the engine did not run since) but thats just me.
Also give you a good oportunity to look at wear in your engine...

i would do the engine replacement program.. i sent back both of my vx 18 off my volcanos and got sh 18. i can lean the sh 18 almost all the way out, and it hardly gets hot and boy does it srceam..
