RE: OFFICIAL Redcat Racing TRUCK thread
September issue of RC Driver.. They have a reveiw of the Himoto Cobra RZ1. All the specs are the same as the Tremor. Looks like a fun A*& truck! They say a little slow off the start but gave it great reviews on everything else.

Yes... I was already running with only one for each rim... now another 2 are gone !!!! so yes... I need new shocks.. :-(
Not sure if the shocks that come with the HIMOTO are really cheap or if I did something wrong...I 've read that people just changed the oil for the redcat ones and they work fine !!!! the thing is they wont hold the oil inside anymore...

RE: OFFICIAL Redcat Racing TRUCK thread
I wish I had that luck too !! I could do a hell of a list for broken parts !!! but you said something that is absolutily right !! those cars are really good for beginers... you have to learn all sort of things !!! and you get to know all of the diferent parts in your car. I think there is a point where you stop worring about parts... if you are upgranding your truck . It depends on how much you wanna spent on it .... right ? :-)

You could get some rubber sealed bearings but even then I don't think it'd be completely water tight.
You could try putting a plastic bag over the servo to protect it. But that's about all I can think of.

How wet? Silicone spray will repel water spray on the servos. I've run my cars in wet grass and light rain with no ill affects. The throttle servo is the only 1 face up that water can get down into the gears and motor. It's not a bad idea to take the top off the servos and clean out any junk in there and lube them up with some dry silicone or mabey graphite on the gears. I've gone thru a 1-2" deep puddle with the buggy in the parking lot of our shop and I thought that was the end. Had steam off the cooling head and was waiting for control loss but it survived allright. Maybe a rubber boot made out of something would help keep the crud outta the shaft and some silicone or soft wax around the battery box. Toilet wax ring or bees wax, and don't forget the hole in the bottom for the wires. Silicone caulk there.
