Just remove one of the pins in the control arm and the axle holder should move far enough away to get the shaft out[:-]

damn it nobody has any Hurricanes that have the yellow/black body!! That sucks! I don't like the white green body, only way i would like it is if i changed out the wheels and spoiler with white ones.

Is the hurricane the same thing as the Bazooka? I know the Bazooka has a yellow/black shell as that is what I have here in Oz. I know the Bazooka is the same buggy as one of those others, mozzy knows which one. So maybe if you are after a yellow/black shell do a search for Bazooka and see how you go.

Hi NSXTACY,
With regards to a yellow body for your Hurricane, you might like to try the guy I got my HSP Bazooka from here in New Zealand. I believe this is the same car and he has the yellow body model in stock. He stocks spares so he will most likely have a yellow body hanging around. Your dollar is strong against ours so it would be a good price even with postage to your location. Wouldn't hurt to contact him anyway ??
His name is Bryan. E-mail - [email protected] Web site - www.hobbyzone.co.nz His website only shows the 1/10 model, but he does stock the 1/8th.
I have the purple / green / white model, which I have fitted with white dish wheels and a white GS Racing spoiler. Doesn't look to bad. The HSP Bazooka comes with a Vertex .21 engine fitted in my part of the world. I have just finished breaking mine in. This engine was easy to start and tune, and seems to run strong.
Good luck with the body [8D]

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)
It's amazing how the names change around the globe. If your buggy is of those colours, white green and purple, it would resemble the Atomic Warhead buggy here in Oz. Is yours actually a Speed Bazooka? I am only asking to find out what things are in other places. With the vertex 21 engine i am guessing it is a 1:8 scale buggy, and I am glad to here that it was easy to break in and tune, unlike the old vertex I had.
With the Bazooka colours of yellow/black, do you still have the old design, or can you get the new "flame" type design, I like the new design, makes it look a lot faster than what it already is. Mozz is right up there with comparisons to names with this stuff. Where are you mozzzy, people need answers in here. Please reply to us all mozz and we will shout ya a coupla bangers, beers, and bundies.

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)
Well I bought mine at a market for $250 and not knowing this product I thought I was getting a good 2nd hand deal. When I got it home I noticed an invoice on the inside of the box and the price on that was $195au. So this person bought it direct from Hong Kong, couldn't tune it and sold it to me (sucker) for a profit. There is one place I know of here in oz who is dealing with these Bazooka's and he is currently advertising a sale price of $420au brand new. Although at the time when I bought mine, I did feel I got ripped off, but I tell ya the balls this buggy has, and the amount of fun I have had punishing it, this buggy has proven to be money very well spent. Even the current price of $420 is great value, especially when you compare the prices of the Kyosho XP pro, and the Hyper7-7.5 etc for double the price.

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)
Hi all,
The buggy I got is sold here in New Zealand as the HSP Bazooka II, which I believe is an upgraded model (alloy shock towers, more bearings etc) than the original Bazooka. HSP (High Speed) seems to be the parent company. It comes with either yellow / black, or green / purple / white colour schemes. My body differed slightly from the product shown on the hobby shop website (same colours but slightly different design). Both colour schemes have flames running from front to back.
The Atomic Warhead model that Jas mentioned is sold here also, but it is the 1/10 scale. Comes with .18 Vertex and 2-speed transmission.
From what I have seen on the internet the Redcat Hurricane and HSP Bazooka are the same buggy, just sold under different names by various distributors around the world.
I have been giving mine a bit of a thrashing now that it is broken in, and it goes real good. Pretty solid. Had a couple of dings (learner driver) but no obvious damage so far. Been thrashing on a wet roadway with a set of old bald tyres - bit of a handfull.
I purchased my buggy new off Trade Me (a local version of e-bay) for NZ$550. This included basic tool kit, rechargable glow starter, couple of spare glow plugs and 1 litre of fuel. Works out to around $484 Australian dollars and $380 US dollars. With our exchange rate here, things work out a little bit more expensive for us, but I am pretty sure I am going to get my monies worth going on the fun I have had so far !!

Alex, try Kfactory driveshafts, they will surely fit. l
i like ur story guys, it makes this thread more interesting.
Anyone here have problems with their engine? becareful, coz i think the O-rings seals in the carburator aren't good enough, if you turn so fast it will destroy them then clog the carburator specially in the main needle.
