Default Fitting the paper

Okay, when I installed my clutch bell, how tight should the top screw be, very tight or just snugg? Which way do I pull the paper out, when setting the gear mesh? Or, how can I pull the paper out if it is trapped between the two gears?

Default RE: Fitting the paper

the clutch bell screw should be tight, there should be a little play between the clutch bell and the spur gears, the paper is used to gauge the mesh not to set it, you should be able to pull the paper thru WITHOUT tearing it.
