Default Status of Metal Replacement Parts

I bought my son a Himoto 1/10 truck, and he absolutely loves it. He's having a ball, but is running into the issue of breaking parts in the cold Pittsburgh PA weather.

I have already purchased a couple of sets of front and rear axle holders (from Hild Cycles). I read in one of the posts on this forum that there are plans for some manufacturer to produce metal parts.

Does anyone have a status on when we might expect these to be available, and who may be selling them?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hey Jeeperscreapers ... can you identify the specific bearings you ordered from the Bocabearing site? I also ordered the aluminum axle holder and would like to make use of them, but need the bearings that you refer to.
