Default Tips For Curing A Flooded Engine????

I think my engine may be flooded....not sure. I have the Volcano STX truck. What I do know is that my glowplug and my GP charger/heater are both GOOD. Check it out. I started the truck up this morning and ran it for about 10 maybe 15 minutes and shut it down by putting my finger over the exhaust pipe. After that I tried to start it up again...no luck. It's suggested that a few drops of nitro be placed into the carb opening-which I did. But I accidentally overfilled it. No problem...did it before and the truck had started up. Well this time it didn't. Plus the pull cord feels really stiff at times-which the manual states is caused by having too much gas in the tank. Well, how much is too much??? My tank was a little over halfway filled. Anyway i got to pulling away.....at times the cord felt really stiff.....then would get stuck.....then would loosen.....then would feel stiff again, then get stuck, then loosen etc etc etc. I could get off about 5 or 6 good pulls when it loosened up.....nothing. I've messed with the carb adjustment screw to no avail. A friend of mine suggested that I empty out the tank and set the truck upside down so it can drain out the carborator and dry it out......but I haven't ran it in over 8 hours. I kinda feel like that's more than enough time for everything to dry out. Anybody got any suggestions???? Thanks.
