You'll probably want to invest in some aluminum versions of those parts. I know a few folks on here have used aluminum parts off of other cars with a little modification. I think eventually redcat will have some aluminum parts out as well, although they have been delayed once. So keep your fingers crossed. I don't know any of the details as to exactly what other car they got the pieces off but I do remember reading somthing about them here in the forums.

hi,
these are the parts I used:
http://www.yeahracing.com/catalog/pr...oducts_id=1069

http://www.yeahracing.com/catalog/pr...oducts_id=1068

I used the same bearings, they fit perfectly. What I had to do though is get a pair of screws from the hardware store cause the stock ones dont work. I also used some spacers for better fit. nothing fancy as you can see, it was very easy and it can take ALOT of face oncrashes with stones now

Those look awesome, how much did they end up costing you? It doesn't say anything on the site about the price and when I add them to my cart it still doesn't show anything. Also which screws exactly did you have to get from the hardware store? Thanks.

the screw on the top end, you can see it in the two first pics.
I got them from e-bay, I searched for HPI MT2 and these come up among others... I cant find the knukle arms now...they must have run out or sth. GPM will also do, it is an other brand of aloy hop ups.

LOL, i know the feeling, i wouldnt put the aluminum a arms on these, you will most likely break the plastic where is mounts to the differential casing, i was checking out the layout today. Plus you can purchase many plastic ones for the price of the aluminum.

Just an opinion though

I agree 100%. I wouldn't put aluminum on mine either.
