Gears question???
Which gears strip the most so I know which ones I should have spares for? Also, how do I determine proper spacing between the gears and the engine? Oh, I almost forgot ... what throttle gear should I use as a replacement? I noticed there is a couple.

tornado xp: 42 tooth and 47 tooth (gear of throttle)
volcano stx: 08014 spur gear
these are the 2 redcats i have, run a piece of looseleaf between the clutch bell teeth and the spur gear teeth, this should make the mesh of the gears perfect.
ps, buy extras, you WILL need them

Yup, because the xp is a 2 speed the 47 tooth gear is what would be considered first and the 42 tooth gear is what otherwise is known as second gear. The Volcano on the other hand is only a one speed.
