I need to refill my shocks, it is a 1/4 from top or a 1/4 full?

Finally I got all my upgrades for my XP and it is so fast, my buddy is a cop and we clock it at 66mph on gravel!, Thanx ehroof for all the pointers and upgrade parts, plus I have 4.95 x 2.17 tires which are way bigger than stock, which gives me way more ground clearance.. Thanx Again

HAHAHAHA, well first off i don't see what it does and second i broke my left wing mount and haven't felt the need to order a new one and third i think it looks like a more true blue buggy w/o it(looks better to me).

it acually keeps downforce pressure on the car so it handles better, and it looks cool. LOL

It handles great w/o it. I also was thinking i would get more top end and accleration w/o teh wing. Next time i have to order something important (which will be very soon) i will order the wing mount and put the wing on and see how it goes.

HPI, you know 17/22t, i think the same exact one you are runnin. My 2 speed is working better than ever. Half way in teh film it stopped switching though. I later found out it loosened itself off the 2 speed shaft. And halfway in the film the front drive cup came loose from the diff shaft so i was also running 2X4 thats how i got my great donuts and my bad handling, but i had no idea the front drive wasn't working till the end of the day. Bad news was is my brand new rcr aluminum tuned exhaust pipe got beat up when i crashed sideways into a steel dumpster and is now deformed with many big dents and dings. Will that effect performance at all? Anyway to fix it? Thanks for the kind words on the vid!

it can effect performance, the air will flow differently now. i dont know how you could get the dent out of a totally sealed pipe bro. Does it seem to be any different? Try the 13/18 clutch bell set up and you low end will be crazy, you need a little work to do it but it is worth it, especially off road.

Ehroof...... Thanks for your input on getting the pipe. It did sound a little different but I couldn't really tell much of a speed difference. I was able to run for about 10 minutes or so until my throttle stuck and I ended up plowing into a curb at prob. about 50 MPH!!!!! dont know if it was interference or what!! ouch it did a bit of damage and I think I will be out for a while. (bent the front end bout 90 degrees) the only cool part about it was watching it fly about 14 ft into the air afterwards. I also would like to know if there is a electric start available for this engine and if so where would I find the thread on how to do it if yall haev already spoke of this before.

Use to have a cool car. :-(

hpi rotostart for a .15 will fit exactly: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFET0&P=7

or just the backplate, you can use a drill and a long flat bit: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFET1&P=7

Is that something that should be pretty easy to install with a little common sense. Does it come with installation instructions?

Hay all.
First of all this is the best site I have found. Very informative. Thanks for all the info. I'm not new to the nitro world I have 2 Eldorada 4 wheel drive off road trucks and a Nitro Rustler Stadium Truck. I guess you could call me an advance beginner. I'm still learning. Problems I am having, let's start off with my first Eldorada, when it came in, on the first start it stripped the spur gear, so I replaced the gear box. Then the front and rear axel holders broke and then the steering arm. Also it just will not run up to its potental, too slow. Go figure.

The second Eldorada came out of the box and ran perfect (for the first tank and a half) then just died while driving it. It just will not start and run. It will start and run just not together. If I hold the igniter on the glow plug it will run, but wonce I remove the igniter it dies instantly. I checked the glow plug and it looked great and glowed very bright very fast, replaced it anyway. Its getting good fuel flow, filter is clean, carb is open just will not stay running without the igniter. Any help here would be great or just point me toward the post I need to be reading.

Last thing, can anyone tell me if there are Traxxas parts (Any Parts) that will work on my Eldorada's and what the part numbers are?

sounds like the mixture is too rich, you need to lean it a bit.
