Default metal gear sets

Hi all,

A friend of mine and me are able to produce steel parts. the thing is that we can only build parts with one layer. So the mainwheel gear #1 (35 teeth) is not producable for us.

BUT .. we are able to build the other gear wheels and we are looking after other parts.

IF the gear thing will work , you should be able to take a .21 engine without any problems . the only thing is that you have to buy the main gear wheel #1 more often || all ratios are possible !!!!!!!!

the other advantage is , we can produce it very cheap .

the problem we have is :

we want to build those parts for our 2 volcanos , so the costs would be to high just for 2 cars.
BUT if more ppl are interested in those parts (part list of parts possible to build will be listed) it will be worth to produce.

We dont want to make big profit . We just try to get cheap parts for our selfs (and friends) .

So if you are interested , PLZ post !!!!

if it works , we will expand on other cars. So this is interesting for everybody , who needs parts with one layer !

best regards,
david walisko

Wow, that is awesome news.

If you could get the 47 tooth gear and the 39 tooth one made out of steel that'd be amazing. Those are the gears that are on the 2-speed transmission i think.
Also if you could figure out a way to reproduce the clutch bell but with better teeth i think all our problems would be solved.

Quantity wise how many would you have to make for it to become cheap? 20? 50? 100? 1000?
Thanks man

ah u missunderstood me

we can produce just in ONE layer . a clutchbell would be a 3D cad drawing . Not producable

i checked the car and i can surely say , that we can produce front AND rear arms , also. and front and rear bumpers (simple version) and upper skit plate

You wanna sell those gear sets ?

AH i need pictures of parts u would like to get.

SO TO EVERYONE ! PLS POST PICS OF PARTS YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET PRODUCED !!!

metal gears! my prayers are answered! i bought the tornado xp for the wife and while just initial start up/ break in, i found the factory idle set was way too high and by the time i could catch it- too late- 1st gear was gone! so count me in as well, as long as you mak a 47 tooth.

Is the problem CAD? Because a 3d render of the bell in CAD is not a big deal, I can wipe it together in a half hour.

lol i can do it in cad also in a few mins, but the machine that would produce the part would make big big costs

its not that we dont want to build it , its just to expensive.

one layer parts are not to expensive.

what is the use of having metal gears if you clutch bell is cheap alloy the metal gears will eat clutch bell unless you can find a better clutch bell that is almost exactly the same just my thoughts

FROM THE HAWG

I HAVE ALREADY FOUND THE CLUTCH SET UP THAT WORKS LOOK AT MORE STRIPED GEARS IN THIS FOURM IT IS A DURA TRAX SET UP FOR THE TWO SPEED BUGGY IT WORKS GREAT STEEL BELL AND GEARS . EVEN WITH THE PLASTIC SPUR GEARS YOU CAN RUN OVER A GALLON OF FUEL BEFORE REPLACING THEM . THE STOCK BELL IS CAST ALUMINUM AND IS REALLY SOFT IT SUCKS.

wow this is going faster than our planning

we have little trouble and just need some time. I am thinking all the day about what we can produce and how we can get the beste solution for all of us.

I AM WORKING ON IT ! !!!

theres still one point u dont know. If we will start producing those parts. They wont look COOL or something like this. It will be standard hard steel or Alu (like you want )

The Advantage we want to bring you is absolut stability !!! not a showcar.

on thing more. Are ppl here interested in selling parts ? If so, we will have to talk to those private . Some questions that are open before we can start producing.

Next week i will be able to say you which parts are produceable for us.

still working on it for you.

Hey as long as they hold together, I don't think many of us care about how our gears look.
Thanks for the hard work guys. Keep it up

Hey buddy, just wondering if you could give us a time frame as to when these might be available for purchase. Also exactly what parts are you going to produce first?
Thanks

we are thinking about building gear wheels #2 #3 and #4 , also different ratios ( 2 most wanted ratios ).

and the front and rear arms seem to be producable for us 2 .

upper plate is also easy to produce (if you need it ).

gears will be inspected at the moment. We are really working on it , but we have very little time because of college.

we are trying to rebuild the main gear wheel #1 also , so that you can get a complete metal gear wheel set.

we think this would make the whole gear set unbreakable

Default RE: metal gear sets

hehe lol would be great

i need to know quantities , so prices will follow THIS week

50 ? 100 ? more ?

Just need to know how many we will produce to get prices for those quantities

50 is minimum , and little bit expensive

as you will understand , we wont produce parts , if we dont know how many and if we can sell those.

We will first produce standard ratio for the volcano, eldorada and how ever the 1/10 scale truck is called. (35 , 25 , 17 , 27 teeth )

if business is running , we can start producing gear sets for the other cars !

we can also send you samples no doubt , but those parts would cost us very very much
