Default Break in fuel???

I know there is a difference between break in nitro and regular nitro with the ammount of oil. This freind of mine ran half a gallon thru his first engine and performance decreased. I put another Engine in it for him that hauled but and was already broke in. I told him to run regular nitro and stop using the break in stuff. Well, he has been running the break in stuff again because "he wanted to use it up". Now this engine is not running right at all. It can't even generate enough rpms to shift. Is there a problem with running this time after the engine has been broken in? What is this stuff doing to the engine? I can't tune it in at all.

I feel the same way, it's pointless. But, I wonder because of the oil diffference, it's messing his motors up.

the extra oil may be fouling the glow plug, i dont think it could ruin an engine, its just less nitro and more oil. Try a new plug or hotter plug if you want to keep using the breakin fuel.

Break in fuel is usually 20% oil , maybe the break in oil is broke ? They do recommend a synthetic/caster blend for break in on a ringless engine. I broke mine in on 1/2A fuel 25% nitro 20% oil , engine is fine. Now if it will quit raining I want to stuff some HOT fuel down it !! LOL

Yup, I tried new plug and a few tanks of regular nitro. Still don't perform the way they did till he ran that break in stuff.
