Alot of people upgrade the radio's. Its normal to get a low quality radio. My brother in law, (chubbysuncle) got a new savage and he got a am radio also.
LOL, show me one stock RTR that isn't a Losi that comes with a radio that doesnt' deserve to be binned right away[&:]

I'm exaggerating, of course...but my years of high end rc radios have spoiled me, LOL.

Got the torpeda xp pro with .28 sh motor and that redcat that you are looking at has all I mean all of the up grades. I aded it all up it's about $ 250.00 + shipping and that's less the cost of the car it's self. So this is what I got for my doller. Eric

1/8 torpeda .28 sh and don't forget the pro. So we shall see thursday break in and sat night race. For the price thease things are going for you would think they could give you A better radio, they do offer one as A hop up fm radio. but I know one thing that red cat and himoto are built by the same company in china.

the red cat top of the line is the same as what i have -the up grades .I think it will put you back about $270.00 to put all the up grades on? It will happen here but have to wait tell next pay day. this thing is really buff as is. And it is FAST with.28 sh motor. So I will see ya in the dust. ha!! ha!!

I've got a Volcano SV Pro about 3 weeks ago. Took me a week to get to the break in. Then a couple days to figure out why it wasn't getting fuel. Bad Fuel Tank from the factory! Now I get to tear it down with a STX manual because thats all they have. Nothing for an SV Pro!!! I thought Nitro RC would be fun! So far have'nt had much of it.

You wont really need a manual to take off a gas tank.... Only a few screws.. Whats wrong with the tank? O-ring bad?
