Default Good temp range for SH .28?

I'm buying an infared temp gun for my car to tune it. Whats a good temp range I should shoot for overall? Max, min, dangerous? etc.

Default RE: Good temp range for SH .28?

between 210 and 300 is acceptable for the .28. if it goes over 300, don't freak, just richen it up. if it doesn't go down, shut 'er down, richen it up a quarter turn and try it again.
