Hello Eric, I have a question that really doesn't have anything to do with the post, but considering that you know about Redcat, I have a simple question. I bought and installed a Redcat Tune Pipe with Joint (81082) for my Hurricane. Beside the difference in appearance, is this an upgrade or the same exhaust as stock? If you have any info, please respond. dabo12367
Did yours have the black one, and then you intstalled the polished one? vice versa? there are two pipes we have for the Hurricane...which one did you get?

either way, as far as i know, both of the pipes are identical aside from one being black...so you won't really see any real difference.

Hey I was just wondering when the new cars will be posted to the redcat site. Also when are parts for these things going to be available? From what I've heard you can already order the car itself but the parts for them are yet to be offered.
Thanks.

July 1st, when the new website goes up

Yes, you can order Volcano BBs, BB Pros, Volcano SV's, and SV Pros, but we won't have the parts for 'em for another week.

Tornado XP $219.99
Tornado BB $269.99

Dabo, aside from appearance, I don't think there's any real difference.

we do have an inline SH pipe on its way though

Thanks Eric, I'll keep that in mind. Are there any hop-up exhausts that don't need three springs to mount, I hear that they are a pain to install.

Dabo, IMO they're not that bad. We don't have any aftermarket pipes aside from what we carry for the Hurricane, and most any aftermarket pipe for any 1/8 buggy will be an inline pipe (the type that mounts with the 3 spring method)

Any pics of the buggies from the top down? Is the gear box the square looking one? If you gatta pic from an above view, it would be much appreciated.

Sounds like you're too lean. Running too lean can fry your engine. Richen both the high and low needles about 1 turn. Try that. You won't do any damage to rich. After you get it to stay running remember, You want to ALWAYS adjust the High needle first. Your shooting for a good smoke trail at full throttle with the best top speed. After you get that then make small adjustments to the LSN and Idle so it'll idle for about 10-15 sec and from a dead stop you get the best accelleration. Checkout the FAQ Repair thread for a link to a tuning site with some great videos on tuning.

Hi Eric, I have just seen the new truggy on your site and must say I'm impressed with it.

Just a small question about it, I noticed the buggies in your pictures have a new style front arms (plastic & aluminium), I know I've broken a few of these on my buggy and these look a lot stronger, are they going to be available on the truggy or will it keep the older style front arm?

Thanks mate.
