Default remote problems

i playe hard today, had a killer crash, hit my friends 1/8th scale buggy and knocked my front A-arm all the way off.
replaced it and played then went through some water, car was fine til 15 minutes later.
it started sticking wide open, even if the remote wasn't wide open.
i could just eaze on the remote and it would just go to WOT
i replaced the batteries in the buggy, and with the motor off i turned on the remote and switch on the buggy
and the throttle survo just gose to WOT and jumps slightly back and forth.
could it have moisture on it causing that or is it just shot.
i tried trim on it and nothing.

any time electronics get wet, you've got problems.

it may or may not be your servos, it may or may not be your receiver.

Just be sure to let it dry up completely. I went to the beach once and my buggy got a tad bit water logged when a wave crashed into it. Well needless to say the electronics stopped working. But i let it dry off for a few days and I cleaned everything out and everything started working again. So you should be in pretty good shape once everything airs out.
