hey mark how r u, do u know the part # to the e-clip that goes inside the single speed moderate gear set. i have to do away with the second speed set because i dont think my engine is powerful enough and i blew the gears in the 2 speed gear set

Looking at the manual I see item #6 on the attached picture but only part in the book is 02037. These are very small, I take itthe
one you need is bigger to fit the shaft? If so, I don't know the size. I know you can get a set of E-Clips with different sizes at your
local autoparts house. Should be no more than 2-3 bucko's

02037 is the E clip for the hingepins...unfortunately that's all we've got in stock right now...I'll dig around some more and see what I can find.

Yeah when my e-clip went crazy and snapped off my clutchbell I just took everything to lowes and matched it up with another one. Cost me about .48 cents and about 10 minutes of searching.

Hey Mark, I have a volcano also, it seems the gears have stripped out, im not sure which ones they are. The car will start, but when i give it the gas it doesnt go. Before i take the truck apart if you happen to know the part, ill just order it, and be on my way.

If it's the main spur gear you can see from outside the gearbox then 08033 is what you need. (see attached pic)
This is the one that comes in contact w/ the bell housing.

If it's inside the gearbox, then there's a few choices. If you need a manual you can download from our website.
Just look up the Volcano STX truck and you'll see a PDF picture that says "Repair Manual" under it.

Or just get the whole gearbox complete, part No. 08023

Part # 08013 is the spur gear shaft and slipper gears all assembed. Installing the gears can be tricky to do. I've done it twice and they just don't seem to go back together to well. You need to remove the c clip that holds the aluminum gear on and reuse the slipper/ gasket piece that doesn't seem to compress tight enough to reinstall the c clip. I would order 1 of 08013 and one of the gears only. you can pop in the new assembly and then try and rebuild the old one. That's what I've been doing. I can get you the right #'s for the other gears if you want tomarrow. I've got a brand new set of all the trans gears in the garage.

I just recieved my alloy knuckle and C-hubs. Looks like they are machined pretty good. Went to put them on and wow, a no go. I actually had to re drill and tap the knuckle and the C-hub now has a broke bolt in it. It seems that the company making them doesnt have the right bolt size. Should i have ordered other parts. They just do not seem to marry well with the composite arms.

Hey Harry,

The knuckle and C-Hub are difeerent thread than your original screws. With the kit we provided the 4-40 machine screws needed.
You did not receive them? or not use them? I installed on my own nitros with no modifications.

The link arms just dont seem to fit Mark, For the suspension and the steering. There were no other parts with them, so maybe i didnt get them.
