Ok in breif, make sure that you are getting fuel to your engine. Make sure that it is free of air. If all that is ok, then check your glow plug. Pull it out of the engine and put your ignitor on it to make sure it glows. Hope this helps some

Since you got it, it never started?
Maybe needs a new glow plug.
From my experiance and most will recommend, you change the plug after breakin.
Had that on my HurricaneXP, ran a tank through break in, left it overnight and could not start it the next day.
Put a new glow plug and everything was gravy again.
Does your glow plug look bright red/orange when you add the ignitor? Some may look ok but when compared to a new plug, big difference.

First make sure your glo-plug charger has a FULL charge.
Next take off the air filter and make sure theres a 1 -to 1-1/2mm opening down in the carb.
(make sure your throttle trim on your controler is turned all the way down)
Replace filter.
Make sure your LSN (low speed needle) Is just under flush with the sleave.
Put the high speed needle in all the way gentlyuntill it stops then back it out 2-1/2 turns.
This should start you out.
(Also never pull the starter cord out more than 12 inches)

Ah, got it started, but wheels spinning...Definitely gotta be a shot clutch spring....Either Order a new one from Topspeedtoys.com, or go to LHS and get one for the Traxxas T-maxx...The stock ones are week, usually die pretty quickly, and as Harry said...a few people have had them come in bad...Don't know if they break in shipping or what, or maybe they just come undone in the mail....They're just a tiny spring with two loops on the end that clip to eachother....

flooding it...check out the repair thread and the first thing is replacing the clutch spring...pull the engine, (four screws on the bottom), disconnect the exhaust, then take off the one bolt holding on the clutch bell, and you'll be able to see if it's the spring or not...Then again, one of these guys may have a better way of checking it without pulling the engine...

You got it running!!
Now the trick to tunning is to only turn the needle valve a quarter turn at a time then drive it for about 5 minutes.
There should be a little fuel coming out of the exhaust but not to much
(The average fuel tank will last anywhere from 8-12 minutes when tuned properly)
Also checking the cluth spring would be a good idea as jguitarsandcars mentioned.

RE: Need help right away?
I also had a hard time starting mine the first day . My clutch spring was broke, I had to hold up off the ground and start it, then set it down and run. It stalled alot but I could run it enough to break it in. I installed the spring and she is flyin running awsome. Good luck hope you get it running . The FAQ's on the front page of forum at the very top first thread usually. VERY VERY helpful. It tells you just about everything you need to know. I used it !!!!!!!! Big shout out to all that posted helpful Threads on that . Thanks Greg
