superchargers only work on 4 stroke engines not on 2 stroke engines. there is no compression stroke on a 2 stroke engine so a super or turbo chargers do not work with them.

some OS engines come STOCK w/supercharger built in. Look at their 4 strokes, i dono if they still make it though.

Its really not worth the price when you think about the % of increase. Your better off buying a better ported racing motor.

You sure you get the motor with it. Looks like, the supercharger itself is 179.00. Thats not a bad deal if the motor comes with it. the RBinnovations web site, doesnt say anything about getting the motor with it. They just show the different superchargers for the different motors. Post a link were you bought yours, i would like to check them out. Thanks

see. I just bought the pully... I mean it looks like it comes with and engine thats why I didn't go 179 because I'm a cheap guy... lol but if you go to the site... and go to the super charger... the pulls is listed under it for 12 dollors

Yes thay do I have personaly turbochardged a 700 triple yamaha engine. There is compresion on a two stroke. Get your facts strait before you make claims! A supercharger is better for a two stroke. Either a supper charger or a turbo will work they boath force more air into the engine and when you do that you make more power.

2 stroke=ignition/exhaust you need to get your facts straight, a nitro does not hava a compression stroke. it pulls fuel and ignites on the same stroke then exhausts on the other stoke, the compression and ignition are on the same stroke.

i was reading about these, a whole article on why they dont work, i dont remember if it was in one of my magazines or online, i will have to search for it and post it, what the article said made total sense. A turbo or super charger compresses air and compressed air mixed with fuel is more flamable but there is no compression stroke with a 2 stroke engine. i will looke for this arlicle and post a link or scan it in and post it.
