Default T-MAXX shocks on Volcano SV???

Is it easier to put the T-MAXX shocks on the SV than it is to put them on the STX? I'v seen pics of the STX with them on it, and it looks like you could just snap them on to the ball ends on the SV (instead of using longer screws) and secure them with the factory screws on the bottom(almost like a direct replacement). If anybody has done this on the SV please let me know what exactly is involved. I would like to do it, but want to know what I am in for first. Thanks for your help
