interesting idea lemme know what you think
ok...so i know everyone has issues with "exhaust sludge" atleast i do...but i was tinkering today and couldnt you flip your exhaust manifold upside down and run the exhaust out the back? it looks like it would still line up right but i havent tried it out yet due to stripped trani gears

You don't want to do that. If you turn your stock manifold upside down then all that sludge will run back in the engine and liquid lock the engine. If it does that while it's running you could bend or break a connecting rod. You want all that stuff to come out. It's not a problem it's good means you have enough fuel going to your engine, unless you have tons of it, maybe you need to tune your engine alittle.
