yes, i am very mechanically incline! the pull start will not fit! the one way is about 10mm out side dimater and the cut out for the one way in the pull start is about 8mm

the 10mm & 8mm size is just a guess i did not pull out the micrometer

Alot of stuff from HPI is usable on redcats. Maybe the pullstart for there .15 or .18 might work. Heres a link-http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGEG6&P=OW. Im not sure but its worth a try.

i cant believe no one from redcat can answer this guy!!!

Ok, the engine's backplate was changed a few months ago to a smaller bolt pattern, you need to measure the distance between the botls on the old pullstart and get the right one, there is a 1" and a 1 1/4 inch pattern.

it should, there is alot of play usually with the dobones, enough to put slivers of fuel tuning in the drive cups, i dont think 2mm would be too big but i am not 100% sure.
