Actually I have both, The Volcano is much faster. It will out run the BB until it gears out. then the bb will hit 2 gear and past it. Volcano's are awesome.

Im putting a 1 speed on my BB, do I need to change the clutch too?

Yeah!!!! I got some help with my clutch problem. From what I was told the Losi lst threaded bell will work with the 25t lst2 second gear and the Ofna 20t rs4 first gear. Not a huge improvement, but it will get me closer to 60mph... Already got the parts coming. Let you know if it works out or not..

Rocket car is done enough to test. I'll do the break-in next warm day we get and save the bigger rockets for the new clutch bell. I'll make sure the camera is running too..lol

Anyone seen the TRX3.3 or OS 18tz-tx running. Which is the faster, stronger engine? I'm thinking the OS but have only run the 3.3 so far. Personal opinion is the TRX3.3 and the Os 18cv-rx are even which would make the power of the 18tz-tx way above the 3.3. Going for top speed rpm's are going to play a huge roll too and you just can't seem to find specs for the 3.3 anywhere. Any thoughts or opinions on which would be the faster engine with the exact same gearing?

pull start sucks even if your engine is tuned properly
you all ways have to worry about breaking the cord
and also you have to hold the car down

when a car is tuned correctly, it will start in 1 or 2 pulls after being primed. If you dont pull the cord out too much, you wont break the pullstart. I dont like to have a fully charged battery on me all the time to start my car, if you have a dead battery, your not running your car. Just my 2 cents.

The bell I listed should be a direct fit. The hpi threaded bell if perfect too but can only go up to 18t/23t. I ordered one already so when it shows up I'll let you guys know if it's direct or needs some mods.

I hate to say it buddy but I don't care for the pullstart either. Not because it doesn't work, but because of the blisters I end up with from them..lol If your in it for the speed the pullstart is better(lighter) but if your just goofing around I like the rotostart just for the fact it takes less effort. It's o.k. to be lazy when your just playing..lol

i took my buggy to the track yesterday and it wouldnt start and all my fuel lines were clear and my carb was clean and the only way it would run is if u prime it a lot and even then it would just start for like 2 seconds then die. so i took the motor out of the buggy and took the carb off and watched the crankshaft go around, i saw when the piston was coming down to pressurize the case, all the mixture was coming out around the crankshaft. so im going to get a os cv-rx
