has the temprature changed, higher humidity? weather can cause a change in engine tuning, is it running hot? did it happen after you changed the plug or something. are you using a different fuel?

do it more, lol. alot of times when an engine stalls its due to lack of fuel, richen the low end too or just go back to base settings, 2 1/2 out on the high and flush with the low and start from there.

low compression, very hard to tune, no compression when engine is warm and very hard to start is a good sign of a blown engine.

OK I need an axle extension that will fit my tornado 12mm hex. Either that or i need a way to make a little bit more clearance for the replacement wheels/tires. Anyone seen it cause I think I have but I can't find it lol.

my bad. the car got here today and it was the exceed rc xtreme. I got so mixed up in the forums reading up on the xtreme and tornado that I forgot.

Car works good right out of the box, runs great, that was my biggest concern, but the radio is junk. if you have enough room to get it to shift to second, you've gotten out of range. Bummer.

Shocks are plastic bodied, I thought they were gonna be Alum, and their dampening is less than optimal, anybody have a good replacement, (budget) don't want to make a cheap car into an expensive one.

The tores are without foam, and are smaller than I would like, it almost looks like the car was made for street. If anybody knows good replacement wheels and tires, then the easiest way to re gear it lower that might be cool.

are you serious? when I was in Victoria for the summer, we found the exceed RC's for around 400$-500$, i thought that was pricey!, The west coast is one of the main import drops for Canada, thats where alot of these cars come from is out west.

cliffhanger. i have the same exceed car. i actually like it. ive but traxxas shocks on it. i ordered a redcat header and upgraded shock plates for it. i have never gone out of range but the farthest i was away was about 100 yards. take the socks apart and put fuel tubing on the rod. will help it from bottoming out.

i think they are hpi nitro mt shocks. make sure your antenna is coming out of the car, full extended, any extra on the outside could be wrapped around the antenna tube and held in place by a piece of fuel tubing.

Ran the antenna out the tube all the way! I'm hoping it's just bad crystals. Where can I get replacement crystals?

if ur antenna isnt screwed in all the way you only get like 30 yards because on my xtreme (which is now a redcat) i can get about 200-300 yards each way. I changed my antenna from my model airplane to my car though so it probably adds a little

I don't see on thier site that it is warrentied. and for what? to send me an other radio that goes 30 yards? No biggie. The car works better than I thougth it would for the price, so I'm happy overall.

I would like to find some desent replacement tires. the lack of foam really makes them squooshy, and they just seem tiny to me, as if it were made for street.
