well, got it in today, ran it for a while (one tank) does anyone have the problem with the pull starter getting in the way of the throttle? when I let off the gas somtimes it sticks, I looked and it looks like the starter rope gets in the way of the throttle being able to release all the way somtimes, anyone else have this problem? I am thinking about getting all my stuff on my wish list before placing an order, thankyou for link ehroof, do u have a converter for the starter so you can use a drill or somthing? that may solve the throttle sticking problem unless someone else has a good idea.

change to a rotostart backplate.. will stop the problem with your linkage. The servo saver is the two steering linkage pieces between the upper plate and chassis. Its basically a shaft that is split with a spring for tension so when extreme force is put on it it will turn slower so it wont strip your servo gears. comes stock...

Just wanted to say whats up ehroof! got it going again..lol I'll behave....

Here is a Sullivan Tigerdrive for my BB Pro. It works great with a Dewalt drill and has top access so you can start with body on. I got them at Tower Hobbies. Make sure you get the right bolt pattern for engine. This is for an Team Infinity .18

well, i ran my car into a car, busted up my c-hub, tried to fix it, i fixed it wrong, fixed it again and i got it right.

i just took the shockwave out for a run and it was fun....until i ran it into a huge puddle that is always on my drive way. i didnt blow any servos or anything. it made a big wall of water to.

how far did you push the one way bearing in? on the website it says you have to push the one way bearing in further to make it work with this engine, it says the one way bearing will not contact the shaft enough and needs to be pushed in. It does not say how far to push it, is it supposed to be flush where the brass ring goes or should it stick out further than the brass ring?

oh boy did I get lucky, I bought a bunch of parts off a guy along with a non running rc10 with an os12 engine, he had the Sullivan Tigerdrive new still in the package, it is the one that fits the tornado, guess it was still in the package because it would not fit the os 12 or somthing, either way, I just put it on my tornado, I pushed the one way bearing in just alittle so the whole one way bearing would go on the shaft, it is nice to have that, so much better than the pull starter! I also got a Rustler 2.5, but it has been a pain to keep running, I am thinking I might have blown it up running it too hard, I might just get a new motor for it, if I do, I am thinking about getting the Sullivan Tigerdrive for it too! That fixed the problem with the throttle/brake thing hitting the pull starter. the lhs is out of afterrun oil, he said to use wd40, I oil the crap out of it, how much should I be using? any other insite on this car, I am very happy with it so far, I like it better than my rustler right now.

Yes, I made some doublers out of harder aluminum. Redcat BB Pro's are like butter.

you will have to remove the shaft running to the front diff and u might want to remove the ones running form the front diff to the wheels also

why would you want 2wd on a buggy? all you get from it is a wavy unbalanced RC.
