the water, lol. also sand messing up the gears, very rought stuff, make sure the air filter is on good and tight, if it falls off and you dont realize it, the engine is history, put a zip tie on the neck where it meets the carb. I had the one on my jato fall off and it sucked in sand. messed up engine.

Still no rocket car runs..[:@] woke up this morning to 4 inches of snow on the ground and it's still coming. I probably got a while before it will all melt again. Waiting for the snow to melt is worse then waiting on parts...You guys will be the first to know when I get it going though. Now it's the boring waiting game again..[&o]

RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
Hi
I just got a Redcat Shockwave a few weeks ago. I know I need to change the cluthch shoes and bell, I just got a bunch of replacement parts including a ball bearing upgrade and a two speed tranny and cluth bell. I know I installed it right. I tried to run it today, the buggy did shift to 2nd gear originally after about 3 seconds in first, but after that the buggy was stuck in 2nd all the time. I checked it out best I could and it appears that the little clutch arm has very little tension on it. It does not matter where I set the grub screw the tension does not change. Any suggestions? It appears all its parts are their including the spring and bead.
Thanks for you help.
Would I be better off with the single speed anyway?

12mm hex wheels...like jato, rustler and other 1/10 scale trucks wheels and rims and the volcano...REARS ONLY
I don't think the traxxas clutch shoes would work but not sure
