sounds like it may be running rich or somehow your drive train is binding up when its on the ground and not when its in the air.

the single speed is exactly the same as the 2 speeds, dont need to change anything except a single speed clutch bell.

you may have gotten the short crank, you need the standard crank. i dont think you can get a longer pilot shaft, i wouldnt even know what shaft to say to use and to buy a standard crank, its expensive.

man that all sounds bad. Iv got everything taken apart now i bought some "sealed" bearings from the hobby store and there all full of dirt now. Im getting really tired of fixing this thing. Im going to try to get some boca bearings for it at least i know there really sealed. I just dont know what to do with it anymore maybe i have to just leave it sit for awhile to give me time to cool off lol. Im even getting lots of dirt and water in the reciever box that sucks. Even my diffs are getting full of dirt. I just cleaned them 5 tanks ago and there full. I think I might sell it or just hotrod it to make everting work the way I want it to. Is there anybody that makes a bearing kit for these?

The Volcano takes a 2.2 tire size. What size should I be looking for, for the tsunami?

you can use 2.2's with 12 mm hex or 2.8 with 12mm hex, i just meant the stock rims size is 2.8. you can use rustler rears (2.2) or jato rears (2.8). there are alot of options with 2.2's, alot more than 2.8's. The wider the offset the better, meaning the more twards the inside of the rim the mount, the better, it makes the stance wider and keeps the rim away from suspension parts, i have to do a little plastic widdleing to get the rustler rears to fit my volcano.

2.2's are a lot more durable and don't crack as easily.

I got dirt and water in them because it snowed today and i was driving it on a ball diamond and grass. I think im done driving it this year snow is here to stay soon. Do the boca bearings keepo some moisture out? Have you ever had a problem with dirt getting into your diffs?

in severe driving you can get dirt in them, the bearings will keep out dirt and some moisture but i would suggest not running in water or snow that often.

when cold you can hold it in the air by the pullstart or it will drop slowly, if it drops faily quickly, the comression is low.
