Ya ya you could!! However I would be careful about how much wider you make the truck going out from the front and rear hubs. The wider you make it, the more stress will be applied to the wheel spindle and may cause it to bend or break. However this is just my opinion an my not actually happen. Just some after thoughts!!

The Firestorm body might fit right out of the box, but the Hellfire body won't as it is a 1/8th truggy. However if you do get the bodies, you can always just drill out new holes to make it fit!!

The firestorm will, but the hellfire is a 1/8th so its too big.
That truck looks great with those wheels and extenders

megabash You better watch how high you jump that thing now the redcat tsunami stubs are not the strongest The volcano sv pro stubs on the other hand are fairly strong but you cant use those extensions on them. I like those wheels man nice ride

hey mega , just take it eazy with thos beadlocks too , i had a set of black ones of thos 2.2 on the back of mine and i broke the center straight out of one and i looked at the other and it was all cracked between the 8 or so holes in the middle . but ay maybe i had a bad set but i think with the holes in the middle it makes them weak...

You know Uhoo I was thinking the samething when I bought these beadlocks. They have so d**n many holes in the them they look like they might break if severly abused. I should probably drill some holes in the wheel itself as I haven't done so in experimenting with tires with pressure and tires without pressure. As for the hubs Eminent they are cheap to replace, they are currently the most common break point on my TUW, but if I every need to I guess I could go aluminum.

no man im talking about the stub axles not the hubs the stubs that the extenssions bolt onto bend really easy. I have never tried them but I do know that I bent loads of tsunami stubs so far and I think that added leverage is going to make things worse. Why didn't you put the volcane sv pro stubs and wide hex's on? They make the car wider and are bullet proofe (almost) lol

On another note, I have found some 3 to 4 shoe clutch designs that fit SG shaft engines, if you guys are interested, below are some links:

FYI even though OFNA told me their clutch kit will fit it doesn't, so dont waste your money buying these kits to upgrade from a 2 shoe clutch to a 3 shoe clutch.
I think I might try to tap 3 holes on the stock flywheel and then buy a clutch nut that will accept 3 clutch shoes and springs. I will let you know how this endeavor goes!!

Is there a spur gear (from another manufacturer) that matches up with the stock one? I need to replace the one thats in my UW but seeing how redcat is "out of stock" I'm waiting, is there something i can pickup at the local hobby shop that will work with my truck?

oooooooookk boys my engine got here bout bloody time lol
so after work today mocked up my nylon engine mounts for hole possis . also put my roto start on because the pull start was a real tight fit . tomo il drill the holes in the billet mounts i made so i should have it all mounted very soon .few lil odds and ends but its all looking good so far ... once i get it all running im thinking of,.. if it will work a custom fitted bigger fuel tank... wil see

Bro, I would seriously scratch the nylon motor mounts or your going to loose that Axial engine. I sell them and run them in my savages and I can gurantee you that your looking for trouble in the near future with those nylon motor mounts and that engine. Other than that it looks nice and your going to be very happy with that engine, I would consider investing in Dog bones too, lol, that's a power house of an engine.

nah nah nah buddy there just for MOCK up i have machined up alloy billet mounts, but was not sure where to put the holes so i made mock up nylon ones just to so how it all fits ...

yeah hope so this is my first bb very new to these engines , one lil thing i didnt no was it was a slide carb so its gunna be a stuff around with the linkage to push an pull side ways but il get around it .iv also bought a truggy 1/8 tank to fit in it an try and make it nice and neat..... do you know what plug to run in this engine ?????

ok boys .
engine is fully mounted on custom billet mounts , exhaust is all done and mounted useing a HPI savage header and pipe ( all i had ) , clutch form RC mall on ebay all installed and new throttle linkage installed and working like a charm .

waiting on new fuel line and filter ( and tank )
waiting on glow plugs.
need a new roto wand because the redcat one does not fit this.
bigger air filter snorkle for big block.

SOB!! Now I have to install a bigger engine. Might as well slap in the SH.28 I have sitting in the RC closet. So much for my OS.18....NUTS!!
