RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread
dustin you posted the 2 speed transmission, that would make 2 speed instead of single. there is the single speed with a 13 tooth clutchbell http://allaboutfunhobbies.com/store/...roducts_id/149 its what i have and i love it.
then there is just the single speed tranny http://allaboutfunhobbies.com/store/...roducts_id/465
and that way you could buy a different clutchbell. i have the 13 tooth that comes in the combo, and love it. sometimes i wish i had more low end, but i also have a top end pipe. but you guys have smaller wheels. i would just get the combo and buy another bell if you need it.
edit: i have the volcano that why i said you guys have smaller wheels (if stock)

Well in my TUW Uhoo, I run the Volcano gear reduction transmission with a Redcat Steel Spur Gear, a 16tooth clutch bell and an aluminum 2 piece clutch from Kyosho. I have links to the parts below:
Redcat Steel Spurgear is part# 08013t

Uhoo there is a little bit of trimming that you have to fo to get it to fit but its really easy man. That way you can run whatever gear ratio you want. Your not stuck with a 44 tooth spur gear. I put the 52 spur 14 bell on mine because I have the taller tires but its hard on the diffs
Keith what hole do you have the turnbuckles hooked up to on your front steering hubs? Mine have 2 holes

TigerDrive works well with the VX18 engine, bolts right on, all you need is a cordless drill.

im having a lil trouble fitting my hyper st bigger tank in my tsunami . theres like no room , cos i still need strength for the front end so its pretty hard to do plus keep it neat , so got to run the small stock one for now , 5min runtimes , what other tanks would be a better fit ?
