How old is it? Stock engine? Gears? We'll need more info before we can make any real useful suggestions

How old is the truck? How much fuel have you put through the engine?

ok well depending on the condition of your engine you might want to consider replacing it with something better. You can change the clutch bell to the HPI 13/16 one which will give up a little top speed from stock but will improve the bottom end dramatically. Along with the new engine I would get a good tuned pipe.

Yes, I have to agree. If the Tsunami is tuned and running up to par with all stock parts, including tires and wheels ( at least size anyway ) broke in and maintained properly......well I would definetly not refer to it as a " dog " it runs extremely well as far as I'm concerned. So, if you don't mind me asking, what are you comparing your Tsunami to to come up with the conclusion that it's a " dog " ?

Do you have it tuned properly? When was the last time you adjusted the carb settings?

Ok, well we are still going to need some additional info. What fuel are you using, what plug, what do you have the needle settings at, stuff like that. Have you check the clutch spring and shoes? Is it just slow off the line or does it not have top end. The more information you can provide the better we can help you.

^^^ Yeah.....pics too............Oh, by the way guys....I hate to say this, but I'm seriously considering selling my nami.....I know....I know....It's been a great little r/c, but after having my hyper 7 for a while now, I'm really getting into the 1/8 scale. Now I'm debating between the Savage 4.6 and the MGT 4.6. But my girl won't let me get another one till I get rid of one.

Once again, buy her something that she wants, then slip the new truck in. It will be hard for her to argue about the truck without giving up her gift too...

Why dont you save money and grab the avalanche. Great truck, you can bash the he// outa it and its also good on the track.

Well for what I would pay for the Avalanche, I can spend a few dollars more and get the MGT 4.6. And my LHS carries parts for both the Savage and the MGT.

Wow I didnt even realize that you guys were asking me about the radio lol. I dont have pics anymore but when we were out bashing a while ago and my revo ran out of fuel so I just set my radio beside it so I could record the other guys bashing and steve didnt see my radio and nailed it at ohhhh im thinking about 30 or more mph. Busted it up real good. I talked to spectrum and there going to repair it for me.
