play in clutchbell
I'm putting the hpi clutch bell on and noticed some play, up & down ( with motor sitting on the pullstart ) is this normal. I tried relocating the shims but no differance.
I also got the 13/ 18 clutchbell which is supposed to fit but the bearings don,t fit into it.

RE: play in clutchbell
dude i wish you would have posted that in the top of the tornado thead, i spent all day makeing a bushing to try my new 13/18 tooth bell out.
i got it to work but i need that needle bearing for it to be right.
i will say that is what this car should have came with in the 1st place, its alsome!
and the new clutch bell does nt match up to wore sper gears to good either.
id say get some of those too.
i guess the needle bearing is probly lost in the posts on that thread but i just read the top.
bummer.

RE: play in clutchbell
yea it is really quick, im just gonna get that from hobby usa, they wont charge shipping. there really is no reason for the bigger gears IMO. i bet with an O.S. engine it would really be somthing.
