PUTTING GREASE ON SPUR GEARS
Does anyone put grease on the spur gears and the gears on the clutchbell, i was just wondering if anybody does this? I would like to thank ehroof and everybody else for the up grade to the clutchbell and gears and for the info on the a886 clutch,works like a charm now that i have it on my tornado xp buggy.Thanks again!

Wow I thought I was the only one that used Graphite on my spurs... hmm... well usually what kind I use it for Pinewood Derby cars... its in a liquad tube and one you put it on it drys and all you gotta to is spin your spurs alittle to get the extra grapthite off... and then your good to go... ( havn't stripped a spur.....Yet )

its not that hard street, you take out the engine (4 screws on the bottom) then take the clutch bell off, put everyting in the order you took it off then put it back together. just have to be sure of your gear mesh. Make sure it not too tight and not too loose. use a piece of paper between the spur gear and clutch bell, push them together easily and tighten the engine. you should be able to pull the paper out without tearing it.
