infinity engines have very short lives. They are manufactured by Toki in japan. You'd be better off spending your money towards an OS engine... it will simply outlive the Infinity engine by at least 2 times!

i agree, get the os .18 cvrx for a direct replacement of the redcat engine. It got tons more power than the stock redcat engines and you can get it for $99

The infinity .18 is perhaps the most problematic engine i've owned. It was just impossible to tune, until i replaced the single needle carb with one from an OS engine!!
Man did that thing run, i could run like ten tanks without shutting it down, or adjusting the needles. After changing the carb on that engine it worked 200% better!

i went with the OS mainly because thats my bashing, hauling ass around the parking lot car. i loved how everyone was amazed how fast the vx was when it was new. i just hope that the os lasts for a long time, i kinda want to set this thing up and leave it. take it out and haul ass and put it away.

i have my hurricane with the infinity 27(which i love)for my track car, went tonight after the rain and had a great time. busted up some suprasales rims(2) though, i was kinda suprised they where the dish style also.

thanks for all your help, everyone
