Default Part # and shock question

HI! Does anyone know the part# for the oneway bearing for the new spur gear with the bigger hole.
Are the Redcat aluminium shocks for the tsunami any good, or is there something better for the same $, my stock ones are leaking.

sorry i couldnt be of more help. i havent ran into the bearing problem yet, i have tsunami and like the shocks on it, why dont you like them? you can put new o rings in them or put some teflon tape on the top nut, it depends on where it is leaking.

The shocks for the tsunami are the same as the ones for the volcano adn the shocks for the boggy are the same too, they just have different stock numbers, we have the aluminum shocks, I think out of 20 sets we only have 3 sets left.

My shocks are leaking, I didn't know the stock ones (plastic ) were rebuildable. Seen the post on shock rebuild but thought it was just A.L ones. Are the A.L. ones really any better?
Can you order the O rings or just try to match them up somehow?
ONE more thing, THE tires are really really soft feels like lots of space between tire and foam, like foam is compressed, the rims are almost, or may be touching the ground.
Do I need new tires or inserts or what? First RC

Besides that it is running really great, just got it shifting to 2nd, consistently and when I want it to shift.
All I can say is WICKED!!

There more durable than the plastic ones. There's no rebuild kits available that I know of for redcat shocks, but you might be able to find some O rings at the LHS or at a Local hardware store. But ya need to get some shock oil. If yoru tires are that flat you might want to consider thinking about new tires soon, or just do like I do and run them till they RIP right off the tire, WOO WHOOOO [sm=lol.gif] fun wow, that's the best when rubber flies 30 feet in the air in all directions. Matter of fact it's fun when any thing flies off my car means I must of been having fun at some point.

you can get o rings from a hobby store or hardware store, yes they are rebuildable and repairable. Get new tires and rims, traxxas rustler rears allaound will fit.

If you do get tires and rims don't put them on till the rubber flies, it's worth the wait, lol.

I've seen the picture or yours with those tires & rims, looks awesome.
I will wait till the rubber flies to change them, it sounds likew it will be pretty cool.

Thank you both
