Volcano - Drive line slipping
My son has a Volcano truck which has developed some sort of "slippage" in the drive line.
At first I thought it might be worn out clutch shoes, but he has only run 1/2 gallon of fuel so far.
Could the shoes be worn out already?
I did install the high stall spring a few months back.
Are there other common places in the drive line that I need to check for something loose?
The truck still moves under power but the engine rev's very quickly (like no load on it) and then the movement of the truck catches up.
Just looking for idea's on where to look before I start tearing things apart.
Any info or suggestions are appreciated.

RE: Volcano - Drive line slipping
I know you said you installed a high stall spring, is it still intact or has it stretched itself or worn itself into the shoes?
I eliminated those aluminum shoes and spring all together with this setup - HPI A886 and it is wearing awesome and I haven't snapped one single spring since.
