I heard several times here on RCU that the longer axles from the volcano sv pro and the longer hexes can be used on the tsunami to offset the wheels about .5 inch. In fact I even passed this tip on in a few threads.

Guess what???? I just got them and they don't work at all!! (EDIT - THEY WILL WORK WITH A SMALL MODIFICATION - KEEP READING THE THREAD)

On the front... it is like the dog bones are not long enough now.... When I turn they pop right out!
On the back... the bearings slide right out over the axles and come out.

If that is not clear enough I can try to explain better.

Please help! I need the offset to make my Wheels fit. i will have thrown a lot of money away if i can't get this to work!

i used them on my eldorada (volcano stx), the setup from the viper (volcano sv) and the mamba (tsunami) has the same setup as the eldorada. It should have worked, my dogbones work and havent had a problem, i will have to do some investigation and see if i can see what is going on.

have you added any fuel line to the inside of the drive cup on the diff end of the cup? This way it will take up some slack.

funny you should say that.... As you message came in I was trying different things to stuff in there. I dont have fuel line (its electric) but I was trying to find something... my latest was a tightly rolled wad of electrical tape.

Any other ideas?
