Reviews for Tornado xl?
Hi guys I haven't been here in a while and I'm glad
to be back.I just ordered a tornado xl and I'm wonder-
ing how good it could be for 99 bucks? My Tamiya TNX is
a KILLER truck,but she needs a friend.So I bought this.
I used to own a volcano and after that truck I almost
got away from nitros all together. That truck is terrible
and would break on daily basis, but then I found the
Tnx and nitro is fun again, very durable truck and super
fast.I don't expect Tamiya quality but I hope its better
than my last redcat expierence. So all you tornado xl
owners did I make a mistake or is this a pretty good
buggy.Thanks guys.RED.

RE: Reviews for Tornado xl?
hey man, I bought an xl for my first nitro car and I love it. I have had problems with srews running themselves out when I run it pretty hard but thats really about it. No major problems. Its durable and has been able to stand up to my inexperience. I've really enjoyed it and like ehroof said, for the money you cant go wrong. Just a bit of advice though: when you get it, before you even run it, I would go through and at least tighten every single screw! Im talking on the engine, the chassis, the tranny, even down to the U-joints. I've learned about the extreme importance of threadlock! Get some and live by it! If you take a screw out, dont put it back in without threadlock. Thats the only problem that I've encountered with this car. Other than that, shes been a blast, and very fast too.
